👨‍💻 About the Role

As Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), you will lead Elimity’s internal security strategy and ensure our practices meet the expectations of regulated industries. You will work closely with leadership, engineering, and customer-facing teams to align security with business growth.

This role combines hands-on ownership of our security posture with external visibility. If interested, You may also represent Elimity as a Field CISO at industry events and within the broader security community.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• 🎯 Own and lead Elimity’s overall information security program

• 📋 Define and implement internal security policies, processes and risk controls

• 🔐 Oversee security across infrastructure, product, and data handling

• 🧑‍💼 Serve as security point-of-contact for enterprise customers and prospects

• 🤝 Collaborate with sales on security questionnaires, audits and due diligence

• 📚 Guide the company’s progress in maturing its security posture and certifications

• 📢 Represent Elimity at industry events and foster relationships with the CISO community

• 🔎 Stay up to date on evolving security standards, frameworks, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO27001, NIS2, DORA)

🙌 Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who combines strategic security thinking with hands-on execution — someone who can guide our security roadmap while communicating clearly with both customers and colleagues.

You’re likely a great fit if you:

• Have 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, ideally with a background in consulting (e.g., Big 4 or boutique security firms)

• Have worked with or for companies in financial services, insurance, or other regulated markets

• Understand frameworks like ISO27001, NIST, SOC 2

• Have a strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, DevSecOps, and product security

• Can translate technical risks into business impact

• Are comfortable interacting with external stakeholders (incl. CISOs and auditors)

• Speak and write fluently in English (but Dutch is a big plus)

• Want to make a measurable impact in a lean, focused team
